After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in business Administration, Dave began his career spending 12 years in sales and product management positions with Burroughs Corporation, then one of the computer industry’s “seven dwarfs” to IBM’s “Snow White”. 

In 1975, Dave joined several friends from Burroughs who had formed a new computer company several years before.  Initially managing software development for a number of custom software customers, he soon moved into involvement with the company’s primary software line – automotive dealership systems.  Over the next 14 years, Dave assumed responsibility for all the technical and support functions of the 1,400 employee company including software and operating system development, system documentation, quality assurance, customer education, telephone support and hardware design and manufacturing as well as installation support and hardware maintenance through the company’s 36 offices. 

In 1989, Dave founded his own software development and consulting company.  They’ve been involved in development of software solutions for contractors, wholesale distributors and a parole and probation organization and developed web-based content for children’s educational games and interactive video-based software training.  Dave’s favorite product is his program that provides remote control of the colorization functions of robotic high definition video cameras used in TV production of shows such as the worldwide broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera.

Dave’s multifaceted background will bring a world of resources to AIS for the benefit of our End Users.
